According to Polaris, in 2013, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children estimated that 1 in 7 endangered runaways reported to them were likely sex trafficking victims. That means in every classroom around 4 kids would be in danger.
Think about it, what if these victims were your children, your siblings, your friends. What would you do? would you sit there and ignore the signs or get educated and get them help? Don't ignore the signs of victimizing there are a few subtle hints.
1) They don't like being touched, especially by males
2) Have unexplainable bruises or pains
3) Extreme weight loss
4) Distance from people they were once very close to
The best thing you can do is educate yourself, not just for your sake but for those around you as well.
